Reba has accomplished quite the laundry list of achievements throughout her eminent career in Country music, but this time she’s taking a chance on a brand new endeavor with the release of her latest project, Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope, through a business collaboration between Nash Icon Records and Capitol Christian Music Group.

Although she’s conquered many milestones throughout her time as an iconic artist in the format, Reba’s decided to let the recordings of some traditional hymns take her into the next step of her musical journey with inspiration putting wind back into her sails for 2017.

SING IT NOW was the perfect title for this album because the message and melody throughout the song connects the dots between the traditional hymns I grew up on and new music that has been uplifting for me in challenging times,” Reba said in a statement to the press.

The iconic entertainer made the exciting announcement this afternoon from the set of her “Back To God” music video via Facebook Live (watch below). She revealed that the double-disc project will include traditional hymns of “faith” on the first 10 songs, while more contemporary tracks of “hope” will be featured on the back half of the album.

The album will be available beginning February 3, 2017, but fans will get their first taste of the superstar’s new music tomorrow when she releases the song “Softly and Tenderly,” featuring Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood, to iTunes. The Oklahoma native also revealed plans to release a new song each Friday until the album ‘s official release date.

To celebrate the release of Sing It Now, Reba will perform a headlining show at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on February 15, 2017. The show will be Reba’s first-ever full show at the Ryman. Tickets for the one night only event go on sale tonight at 6pm CT.
