There’s a brand new all-girl trio in town!

Runaway June is the brain-child of Naomi Cooke (lead vocals/guitar), Hannah Mullholland (vocals/mandolin) and Jennifer Wayne (vocals/guitar).

The up-and-coming trio recently released their debut single, “Lipstick,” via Wheelhouse Records, garnering 35 first week adds at country radio. The single was prouduced by Mickey Jack Cones (Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols).

“Lipstick” gives fans a glimpse of what to expect from the trio’s forthcoming debut album.

“If you’re gonna love somebody/ Yeah you better love somebody/ Who would keep those pretty blue eyes as dry as the Sahara/ If you’re gonna love somebody/ Yeah you better love somebody/ Who ruins your lipstick, not your mascara…” the trio sings.

Fans may also recognize a familiar face from the trio – Jennifer Wayne was once a member of the group Stealing Angels and appeared on the hit show Amazing Race. Wayne is also the granddaughter of American icon John Wayne.
