Sounds Like Nashville is going global, y’all!

To celebrate the launch of SLN in the United Kingdom, we packed our bags for a trip across the pond for Country to Country (C2C) Festival in London. While there, we hosted two Sounds Like Nashville late night shows and invited C2C attendees to join in on all the fun.

On Saturday (March 12), Brooke Eden, High Valley, and David Nail each took the SLN Stage at Indigo at The O2, and Lauren Alaina surprised fans as the evening’s special guest host.

Brooke Eden performed a handful of songs, including her current single, “Daddy’s Money.” The Florida native’s talents really shined through when she performed a pair of songs while stroking the keyboard. We can’t wait to hear more from her!

Fans couldn’t get enough of High Valley. The Canadian-bred duo, who recently signed to Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville, had the audience clapping and singing along to several songs, including their current single, “Make You Mine.”

David Nail closed out Saturday night’s event with a 50-minute set that included several of his hits including “Let It Rain,” “Red Light,” and “Whatever She’s Got.” He also gave fans a taste of what’s to come on his much-anticipated new album with “Fighter” and “Night’s On Fire.” This marked his first trip to the U.K., but judging by fans’ reaction to his performance, it won’t be his last.

After hosting on Saturday night, Lauren Alaina returned to the Sounds Like Nashville stage on Sunday for an energetic set that had fans going wild. She was an instant hit among the U.K. crowd. One of the many highlights of her performance was when she pulled up an unsuspecting fan to join her on stage during “Next Boyfriend.” He was a good sport and even danced and sang right along with the Georgia native. When Lauren told the audience she only had one more song they began to boo and beg for more. It’s safe to say she left London with hundreds of new fans.

Helping us close out the event was U.K. based Country duo The Shires, comprised of Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes. They had fans in the palms of their hands while singing songs such as “Tonight,” “Nashville Grey Skies,” and “Friday Night” from their 2015 album, Brave. The Shires are a true talent, and could very easily make it as a duo in the states. We’d love to hear them on U.S. Country radio!

We had a blast at our inaugural C2C event, and hope to make it back next year! Until then, our U.K. fans can keep up with all things SLN at www.soundslikenashville.co.uk.
