Santa has granted our Christmas wish because Sugarland has revealed that new music is on the way! In a short (but sweet!) Facebook live on Friday morning (Nov.17), Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush let fans in on what they’ve been working on.

“We’re in New York right now,” prefaced Bush, with Nettles excitedly adding, “having a blast on our photo shoot because…” Tossing back to Bush as he went on to explain, “We’re still the same. We’re a little bit taller. We’re still the same except we might be making new music.”

“We’ve been writing and in the studio together and have some new music coming your way,” added Nettles.

While no dates or titles were given, the duo went on to explain that fans can stay in the know by signing up for the duo’s email list.

Sugarland shocked fans with their reunion when they appeared on the 51st annual CMA Awards to present the award for Vocal Duo of the Year. The duo got fans talking when they teased during their presentation that they may hopefully one day return to the nomination pool at a future awards ceremony.

While we don’t know exactly when new Sugarland music is coming, you can catch the duo’s first live performance in five years in the video below.
