Drew and Johnathan Scott of HGTV’s Property Brothers are best known for rebuilding homes in disarray, but throwing house parties? That’s a whole other skill the brothers are exceedingly advanced in. Recently, The Scott Brothers decided to create a music video with a country version of Flo Rida’s latest smash “My House” to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“We’ve been working, or supporting, kids cancer research, and we’ve been volunteering at hospitals since we were kids, since we were teenagers,” Drew told Sounds Like Nashville and other media during the 2017 Country Cares event at St. Jude. “The main thing for me is, I think it’s giving kids a chance to be kids, and that’s what actually we hear when we walk around here, as well. Everything that St. Jude does, whether it’s the way they have their cafeteria, even the smell. When you come through the hospital it smells like a home. It doesn’t smell like a hospital. It doesn’t look like a hospital. The kids have smiles on their faces, because there are so many different programs and things in place to make them feel like they could just be kids. That’s what means so much to me.”

The hilarious video has the brothers bouncing back and forth between a work photo shoot and an extensive pool party, complete with fire breathers, mermaids and many celebrities, including Eric Paslay, Lindsay Ell and RaeLynn, among others.

“We have Eric Paslay and he’s amazing. Absolutely amazing. Also it was very hard for us to find another country artist that was our height, and he is,” joked Drew. “Six foot four and a half. It’s hard to find out there.”

“We actually called a bunch of our friends, and we were trying to figure out who was in town while we were filming the video, because we threw a massive party at our house in Vegas, and that’s where we did the video,” added Johnathan.

The best part of the video, however? All of the proceeds from downloads go directly to St. Jude.

“It’s getting some huge buzz, and all the proceeds, every penny made from the sale of that song goes straight to St. Jude,” said Drew.

“Our whole goal is to show our audience what we’re passionate about, and we’ve supported St. Jude for a long time. We also have been singing and Drew playing the guitar since we were kids, and so we thought this is just the perfect way to marry those, and do a little something extra for St. Jude. This is the first time that we’ve ever been here, so walking through the doors, really re-enforces what we’ve been doing in supporting them for years, because now we’re seeing exactly where that money is going, and it’s absolutely worth it,” concluded Johnathan.
