Thomas Rhett is the ‘Star of the Show’ in New Music Video

While he may be singing a beautiful love song about his wife, Thomas Rhett proves he’s the “Star of the Show” in his new music for his current radio single.

The country singer recently released the freeze-frame video, in which each clip shows Rhett finding his exact place into the screenshotted images of him. From stepping in and out of a taxi to playing a little bit of drums on his “Home Team” kit, Rhett manages to step into the right place at the right time to make for a cinematic mystery.

Lauren Akins, Rhett’s wife, also makes a quick guest appearance at the beginning of the piece and comes back to cuddle with the country star at the end, when the two just so happen to get doused in white paint.

A while back, Rhett actually admitted that he penned the song with his dad a few years back for his lovely partner-in-crime and feels as if the sentiment is beyond special when it comes to their evergreen relationship.

“’Star of the Show’ is one of those songs that I have lived with for a while and kept coming up as a song we needed to record and get to the fans,” explained Rhett recently. “I wrote it with my dad right after I got married, and it was the first song I ever wrote about Lauren. It was a staple in our set before we had any hits and fans still request it to this day.”
