Guess who’s back, back again. Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini are back (as the CMA Fest co-hosts), tell a friend.

After taking their jobs quite seriously in a fun and playful manner last year, CMA decided to stick with Rhett and Ballerini as the emcees of the evenings for the CMA Music Festival television special. Presenting each artist that hits the stage during the stadium shows of the four-day music event filmed for the taping, the two will also exchange hilarious banter and brag on why country music is the family that everyone wants to be a part of.

“Thomas and Kelsea are the embodiment of the summer fun that is CMA Fest, and we are so excited they’ll be back for year two,” said ABC Entertainment Senior Vice President of Alternative Series and Specials & Late-Night Programming Rob Mills in a press release.

The broadcast of CMA Fest continues to draw in millions of viewers from across the country to get in on the action they may have missed in Nashville during the 2018 CMA Music Festival held on June 7-10. For those who couldn’t make the trip or just want to relive their favorite moments from the fun-filled weekend, the special will highlight the hottest acts to represent what the festival brings to Music City year after year.

“This year’s CMA Fest is our biggest yet, with many artists debuting full festival sets on the Nissan Stadium stage,” said CMA CEO Sarah Trahern. “We’re thrilled once again to broadcast ‘CMA Fest’ and bring the festival to millions of Country Music fans not only here in the U.S. but all around the world.”

Fans can tune in to CMA Fest on Wednesday, August 8, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
