Thomas Rhett Reads His Autobiography in New Single, ‘Life Changes’

"It’s definitely the most personal song I’ve ever written, but we all go through a lot in life whatever the story is, so I think the sentiment is something a lot of people can relate to," Rhett said.

It’s crazy how fast ‘Life Changes,’ especially now that Thomas Rhett is moving on to his fourth single off his third album.

From spilling on his college years to gushing over the love story between him and his beautiful wife, Rhett gets really personal on the latest track to country radio. Although it may seem like a risk to take since the lyrics hold a deeper meaning than anything he’s ever put out before, Rhett feels no fear in knowing that the listeners will find their own connections to the tune.

“This song is basically my autobiography in three minutes,” Rhett explained in a press release about the song. “It covers my college years, marrying Lauren, becoming a dad and the evolution of my music career. It’s definitely the most personal song I’ve ever written, but we all go through a lot in life whatever the story is, so I think the sentiment is something a lot of people can relate to.”

This marks the fourth single off of Rhett’s most recent release, following up the success of “Craving You” with Maren Morris, “Unforgettable” and “Marry Me.” Hoping to gear up the summer with a different, more upbeat tune like “Life Changes,” the singer will also get to jam out to the song on his Life Changes Tour running throughout the majority of 2018. More tickets and information is listed on his official website.

“Life Changes” can be found on Rhett’s album of the same name.
