Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Announce Joint Single, Album
The superstar couple will perform the song during the 52nd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
Ever since announcing their joint Soul 2 Soul Tour, fans have anxiously awaited the news of a brand new collaboration from husband and wife country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. The wait will soon be over when the duo releases the song “Speak to a Girl” on Thursday, March 23.
Impacting radio at 4pm CT that same day, the track is the first the couple has released since announcing their signing with Sony Music Nashville. The track was co-written by Shy Carter, Dave Gibson and Joe Spargur, and will serve as the lead single from the couple’s upcoming joint album, set for release later this year.
McGraw and Hill will also make the television world premiere of the song when they perform it during the upcoming 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards. McGraw notched six nominations in four categories, including Single of the Year and Song of the Year for “Humble and Kind,” for the ceremony.
Also taking the stage during the star-studded show will be Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Florida Georgia Line with special guests, the Backstreet Boys.
The ACM Awards will broadcast live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 2 (live 8:00-11:0o PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
