Tim McGraw To Produce + Star In New Crime Drama, ‘Robbers’

After appearing in films such as “The Blind Side” and “Friday Night Lights,” superstar Tim McGraw is trying his hand at the small screen with a new role in “Robbers,” a new TNT crime drama series.

According to Deadline.com, the singer will star in and executive produce the series, which is based on Christopher Cook’s debut novel of the same name. The storyline follows characters Eddie and Ray Bob, two drifters who embark on a crime spree across Texas. McGraw’s character, Ray Bob, is reportedly “the worst of the worst.”
