PBS’s main music series, Soundstage, is about to get a little more country.

The long-time music show will feature performances from Toby Keith, Jason Isbell and Jake Owen in its latest season. Beginning April 28, the three will appear among a variety of other well-known artists and musicians to play a few of their hits.

Soundstage showcases the best artists for each respective genre, from country to R&B to blues and more. Providing an intimate setting for each performance, the audience can be captured by the authenticity behind each set and gives off a personal touch for each musician to capitalize on.

The series also highlights on the concept of having all of the artists play on the same soundstage, giving the show its unique name. For country singers like Keith and Owen, the show will be a lot calmer compared to the typical wild antics of a stadium full of rowdy fans.

Each concert is taped in Chicago, but aired throughout the country on PBS. Soundstage will debut the latest season on April 28, with local listings for times catering specifically to each city individually. The roster will change every episode with a list of new guests for each show.
