Tortuga Music Festival 2016: Five Acts You Don’t Want to Miss

The Tortuga Music Festival is returning to the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Florida April 15-April 17, 2016. This year’s lineup is packed with chart-topping acts like Dierks Bentely, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Billy Currington, and Kip Moore (just to name a few!).

The three-day festival will also showcase some of Country music’s brightest new talent. In advance of the show, we’ve hand-picked five new Country acts that you don’t want to miss at Tortuga Music Festival 2016.

Tucker Beathard

Tucker Beathard: Tucker Beathard is one of Country music’s most buzzed about new acts, but he’s no stranger to the music industry. His father, Casey Beathard is a two-time BMI Songwriter of the year, so you could say music runs in Tucker’s blood. His country-rock infused live show is one fans will be talking about long-after the encore.

Courtney Cole

Courtney Cole: After spending part of last Fall on the road with Miranda Lambert, Courtney Cole is ready to step into the spotlight on her own. The singer, who is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy, landed on multiple 2016 “One’s To Watch” lists and is a promising new talent. Don’t miss her set!

Ryan Hurd

Ryan Hurd: You may not have heard his name (yet!), but chances are, you’ve heard his songs. Ryan Hurd has landed cuts by some of the genre’s biggest names such as Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, and Rascal Flatts. The singer/songwriter is now focusing on becoming an artist in his own right and will definitely make you a fan if you give him the chance. Trust us, this guy is the real deal.

Drew Baldridge

Drew Baldridge: Drew Baldridge is quite the road warrior. He’s opened up shows for some of Country music hottest acts like Lee Brice, Josh Turner, and Chris Young. His latest single, “Dance With Ya,” will have fans dancing on the beach all day long. Check him out!

LANco

LANco: If you’re looking to have a good time, look no further than LANco. These guys know how to have fun on stage. The group, which is comprised of Brandon Lancaster, Tripp Howell, Eric Steedly, Jared Hampton, and Chandler Baldwin, is working with famed producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood). If that kind of résumé doesn’t sell you, we aren’t sure what will!
