Not long after he met a girl, William Michael Morgan has gone “Missing” in the music video for his second single. The video, shot in Palm Springs, CA, follows Morgan as he leaves his troubles behind and enjoys the simplest ventures.

“My favorite part about shooting this music video was the location,” says Morgan. “We were surrounded by a bunch of mountains and out in the desert. The sun was shining down on us. It was a lot of fun.”

The new track also highlights Morgan’s traditional country sound, something that sets him apart from much of what is currently on country radio.

“I love the kind of music that I grew up on. I want to put as much of that influence into my music, but I’m just doing what I do. Of course, we want to be part of the group that is waving the flag for Country Music, But, I don’t think it’s just one guy. I think it’s going to take all of us, like Jon Pardi, Mo Pitney, Ray Scott, and Granger Smith to keep it blipping on the radar,” he told Sounds Like Nashville recently.

“Missing” is the follow-up single to the Mississippi native’s history-making No.1 “I Met A Girl,” written by Shane McAnally, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion’s Trevor Rosen. The tracks appear on his debut album, Vinyl.
