Earl Dibbles, Jr., the country bumpkin alter-ego of Granger Smith, has been a busy fellow. On top of balancing a career in music, he’s also become an author with the release of his first book, If You’re City, If You’re Country.

In the paperback book. Dibbles shares a story highlighting the differences between city living and country living, giving his thoughts on on fast food, huntin’, fishin’, shootin’ the breeze, neighborliness, and politics, among other topics.

“This book has been several years in the making and I couldn’t be more excited to finally put the idea into fruition,” explained Granger. “Writing these jokes as a creative outlet has been the product of so many late night, after show laughs with the band. Earl in his entire existence has been a walking caricature, and finally seeing him in all his glory come to life in illustrations seems so natural. Ultimately, I hope it makes people smile and the thought of that makes me happy.”

With the book, fans will get to take home some of Dibbles’ biggest hits, including “The Country Boy Song,” “Country Boy Love,” “City Boy Stuck,” “Merica,” and “Don’t Tread on Me.”

To celebrate the release, Sounds Like Nashville has teamed up with Smith and Dibbles to give away five signed copies of If You’re City, If You’re Country. To enter for your chance to win, use the entry form below.
