The 2016 CMT Music Awards, held live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena last Wednesday, has become the network’s most-watched awards show of all time.

According to reports, the Erin Andrews and JJ Watt hosted show drew in 3.6 million total viewers across CMT, TV Land, and Nick@Nite (total includes live plus three days). Additionally, ratings were up a total of 20 percent over last year.

The show was also a major topic of conversation on social media as #CMTawards trended worldwide for five hours, making it the top series/special on Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings for the day.

Tim McGraw took home the top honor, Video of the Year, at the show, while Carrie Underwood was the top winner, taking home CMT belt buckles in the Female Video of the Year category and Performance of the Year category. See a complete list of winners HERE.
