Nominees for the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards were revealed this morning, and Country music was well represented.

Nominees for the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards were revealed this morning, and Country music was well represented.

Leading the pack of Country nominees is Luke Bryan, who earned four nominations, including a nod in the all-genre Male Artist of the Year category. The Georgia native also picked up a nomination in the Best Tour category alongside industry heavyweights like Garth Brooks, U2, Taylor Swift, and the Foo Fighters.

Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, and Zac Brown Band also scored multiple nominations with two nods each.

 

The third annual event will take place Sunday, April 3 at the Forum in Inglewood, CA. The show will air live on TBS, TNT and truTV at 8 p.m. ET. It will also simulcast on iHeartMedia stations across the country and online.
