2017 Billboard Music Awards – WINNERS

Stars like Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Miley Cyrus, Camilla Cabello, The Chainsmokers, Nicki Minaj and many others gathered for the ceremony that honored the greatest in music over the past year.

Many of the world’s best musical artists headed to Las Vegas for a celebration unlike any other within the walls of the T-Mobile Arena for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. Stars like Florida Georgia Line, Sam HuntMiley Cyrus, Camilla Cabello, The Chainsmokers, Nicki Minaj and many others gathered for the ceremony that honored the greatest in music over the past year.

Early into the ceremony, Florida Georgia Line was crowned the winner of Top Country Song for their smash hit “H.O.L.Y.” The duo accepted their award, thanking the Lord, their wives and fans.

Ahead of tonight’s telecast, Billboard presented several awards.  Nabbing both Top Country Tour and Top Country Collaboration was Kenny Chesney, while Chris Stapleton was awarded Best Country Album for Traveller. Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott earned an accolade for her faith-based family project with the title of Top Christian Song for “Thy Will.”

The Billboard Music Awards nominees are based on measurements made by Billboard and its data partners, which include Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The numbers are based on fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring and social engagement between the time period of March 18, 2016 through March 16, 2017.
