Kelsea Ballerini flew straight up to the East Coast to celebrate the 2018 CMT Music Awards nominations with country fans and daytime hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb during an announcement made on the Today Show on Tuesday (5/8).

While Ballerini and friends only gave away the names of the nods in the Male Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year categories, CMT quickly followed after to list out everyone who received an honor within the categories created.

A three-way tie between Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean began thanks to their four nominations each for the CMT Music Awards this year.

Another groundbreaking moment of the award nods for 2018 also comes with the fact that pop artists Justin Timberlake and Bebe Rexha both earned spots in the Video of the Year group, which marks the first time that Top 40 artists crossed over to the country world in that realm.

Take a look at the complete nomination list below and be sure to tune in to see Little Big Town host the 2018 CMT Music Awards held in Nashville on Wednesday, June 6, at 8 p.m. EST on CMT.
