For the 28th annual year, country stars will gather together for an all-star event for a great cause when the 28th Annual Celebrity Softball Game returns to First Tennessee Park. Taking place Saturday, June 9, the game will bring together many stars as they strive to “strike out cancer” and raise money for City of Hope.

Playing in this year’s game will be Bobby Bones, Brandi Cyrus, Lauren Alaina, Tegan Marie, Trent Harmon, Lucas Hoge, Jay Cutler, The Scott Brothers, and Marc Mariani, with more players to be announced soon.

Bones will return as captain of the iHeartRadio team, with Cyrus making her softball game debut. Additionally, Harmon will open the game with the National Anthem.

Naomi Judd will also serve as a play-by-play announcer during the game.

A highlight at the game each year is the “meeting on the mound,” where a City of Hope patient gets the opportunity to meet their donor for the first time.

The softball game coincides with the CMA Music Festival, which will take over downtown Nashville from June 7-10, 2018

Tickets for the 28th Annual Celebrity Softball Game are on sale now.
