Music fans were abuzz Tuesday morning when the Recording Academy revealed the nominees for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. Leading the pack for Country music was budding superstar Maren Morris, who was quick to tweet her excitement over her four nominations, saying she was “SHOOK” over the news.

Keith Urban, who nabbed three noms this morning, got the news while he’s busy touring in Australia and sent his reaction via press release. “It’s 2am and I’m just coming down from a crazy great show overseas,” said Urban. “I’m totally blown away with these nominations. Making RIPCORD was really a collaborative labor of love both for the music and all the people that helped me bring my vision to life. I’ll stay up anytime to hear news like this….just not sure of how to get to sleep now!!”

Like Urban, Kenny Chesney responded via press release after being reached while cruising through the sea somewhere. “You’re kidding me,” Chesney responded of his Best Country Duo/Group Performance nomination. “That’s fantastic. What a thing, what news to wake up to. When I heard the song, I knew it was pretty special. But when we got P!NK on there, it was something else. She captures all the emotion, all the joy of being alive, being free and in the moment – and brought everything inside the song to life. I couldn’t be happier this morning, knowing the people who vote for the GRAMMYs heard in that song all the things that I do.”

Since news broke, many of the nominees (and their supportive comrades) have also taken to social media to revel in the excitement of the day. Check out more of the reactions from the 59th Annual Grammy nominees below…
