Dallas native Abby Anderson just released an empowering and sincerely complementary music video to her new debut single “Make Him Wait.”

Filmed in Nashville, Anderson handpicked a stunning and diverse group of women, along with a fan feature, to appear in the video that mirror the very core of the message in her song. Women of all ages, shapes and colors accompany Anderson as she plays the piano in jeans with her hair tied up or struts around in a fabulously flattering red cocktail dress.

“Make Him Wait” is Anderson’s way of validating women’s self-worth, finding someone who sees it and showing that everyone has an undeniable value that needs to be cherished. It’s not only a message geared towards young girls, but women of all ages should take confidence in Anderson’s powerful lyrics.

“My hope is that ‘Make Him Wait’ is a universal message that speaks to people of all ages.” Anderson explains. “This is a song about trusting your worth, with someone worth your trust. It’s about dating someone who understands your worth and treats you accordingly. I’m a strong believer that you set the tone of any relationship. When you set the standards, and you set them high, people tend to rise to the occasion.”

The Black River Entertainment artist and “Dance Away My Broken Heart” singer has more than risen to our expectations with close to ten million collective streams. Not stopping there, Anderson is joining Brett Eldredge and Devin Dawson on the fall leg of Eldredge’s The Long Way Tour.

You can watch Abby’s new video above or stream all her music on Spotify. Her debut EP, I’m Good, is available everywhere now.
