Alan Jackson, Chris Stapleton Added to ACM Honors Lineup
In addition to the new performances, the ACM has revealed its presenters for the evening.
The lineup for the 11th Annual ACM Honors celebration just got a bit bigger with the addition of performances from Chris Stapleton and Alan Jackson. Stapleton and Jackson join the star-studded list of previously announced performers ,including Vince Gill, Little Big Town, George Strait, Kelsea Ballerini, Toby Keith, Maren Morris, Brad Paisley, Hillary Scott and Thomas Rhett.
In addition to the musical performances, the Academy of Country Music has invited Jason Aldean, Bobby Bones, Ross Copperman, Lady Antebellum, Jimmy Webb, Gill, Little Big Town, Morris, Paisley and Scott to join the celebration as presenters during the ceremony. Clare Bowen, Charles Esten, Cassadee Pope, and Brett Young will also participate in special off-camera moments.
The 11th ACM Honors event will honor Ballerini, Strait, Bob Kingsley, Reba McEntire, CMT’s Nashville, Dolly Parton, Shel Silverstein (awarded posthumously), Lori McKenna, Eric Church and Willie Nelson for their special contributions to the country music community. The special awards are voted on by the ACM Board of Directors. Awards will be presented during the 11th Annual ACM Honors at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, August 23, with the television broadcast airing on Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
