Alan Jackson is joining the Nashville Predators’ Seventh Man squad in his own unique way by hosting a free concert downtown for game three of the Stanley Cup Final.

With the Preds preparing a comeback after taking a two-game setback to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the series, Jackson wants to raise those fans’ fang fingers high in the sky to send some love by way of some country music. Opening up lower Broadway in the heart of Music City, the country singer will perform some of his greatest hits leading up to the game’s puck drop later on Saturday evening.

After Jackson’s encore performance, his team will open up the impromptu concert venue as a prime viewing area for fans to rally for the Preds, catfish and all.

“Free concert this Saturday in downtown Nashville! We’re taking over Lower Broadway for Broadway Smash: Preds Party with a Purpose – Game 3. Party starts at 3:30pm. Alan takes the stage at 4:45pm. We’ll watch the Nashville Predators in the#StanleyCup Final on the big screens at 7pm. Come party with Alan and Visit Music City this weekend. Go #Preds! #BroadwaySmash #StandWithUs #PITvsNSH#KeepinItCountry,” read the Facebook post.

As Jackson takes the stage outside to entertain the navy and gold masses flooding the streets of downtown, rumors swirl over who will perform the National Anthem for the Nashville team on the ice. Everyone from Carrie Underwood to Keith Urban to Kelly Clarkson has lent their voices to their hometown team, leaving fans’ imaginations running wild over who will bestow the honor upon them to belt out that “Star-Spangled Banner” for the rowdy crowd.

Jackson will put on his free show on Fifth Avenue and Broadway at 4:45 p.m. CT. The Nashville Predators will take on the Pittsburgh Penguins for game three of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday, June 3, at 7 p.m. CT.
