It seems as if Luke Bryan is having the time of his life as a judge on the ABC revival of American Idol. The country superstar has not only bonded with his counterpart Katy Perry over pranking Lionel Richie, but has enjoyed the company of the many hopefuls walking through the audition doors.

One of those contestants was 19-year-old Lucy Clearwater, who decided to dedicate her audition song to Bryan. Cleverly, she broke into an acoustic version of Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back,” likely inspired by the Georgia native’s affinity to shake it.

Playing along with the hilarious rendition, Bryan couldn’t help but feel the music and got up to dance along, prompting Perry to take a Hollywood golden ticket to his behind for some playful spanking.

The moment was just one of the many fun-filled moments showcased on the reality competition show. Also highlighted is how well the three judges work together, despite their vast musical differences.

“To be on this ride with them and to see how serious they take it and how important it is… It’s an undertaking and a challenge that, when I started saying my opinion on the first day and they started agreeing with it, I was like, ‘Hell yes, I’m gonna be okay. We’re on the same page.’ I was very flattered that I could come in and be the ole country boy voice,” Bryan said in a previous interview.

Fans can catch American Idol on ABC Sundays and Mondays at 8/7c.
