Artists Reveal Their Country Picks for 2016 Presidential Election

Democracy is alive and well in America, and we as citizens are all granted the privilege of being able to vote for the leader of the country. With the election quickly approaching in a couple weeks’ time, some of your favorite country artists have given some of their alternative ideas of who should serve as the Commander in Chief for the next four years.

Instead of choosing between the candidates of this year’s elections, artists put in their two-cents about which country singers should be on the ticket for November 8. With a huge number to pick from, the question led to great analytical assumptions from each person and a few conclusions were made in terms of who would be the best new leader of the Free World to take President Obama’s place in the Oval Office.

While names such as George Strait and Willie Nelson were thrown out, it was ultimately the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, who received the most votes for the position. And in democracy, it’s all about the majority rule.

In the end though, it was Billy Ray Cyrus who gave the best advice about the upcoming election in the next few weeks that mattered the most when it came to the presidential inquiry.

“It’s about the power of the vote and the vote, you can’t take it for granted. You know, right, wrong or indifferent, whatever your beliefs are, you have to know that your vote matters,” he said thoughtfully.
