Ashley Monroe Celebrates Son’s First Birthday with Mickey Mouse Party

Happy birthday, Dalton! Ashley Monroe’s pride and joy turned one over the weekend and celebrated with a Mickey Mouse-themed party. The “Hands On You” singer shared photos from his big day, including the adorable moment Dalton dug into his smash cake.

“Happy 1st Birthday to the love of my life. You woke me up, literally and figuratively…” she wrote with a heart emoji and the hashtag #MickeyMouse.

Monroe and her husband, former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Danks, welcomed Dalton William in August 2017. She announced her pregnancy over Christmas, dubbing him the “best present ever.” She later shared photos of her growing bump, letting fans in on the fact that she was expecting a baby boy.

While the singer embraces her time at home with her loved ones, she’s also been busy working on new music, both solo and with her band, the Pistol Annies. The latter, a trio comprised of Monroe, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley, have recently completed a new album in the studio and are hoping to release the music to fans shortly.

In the meantime, fans hope to catch Pistol Annies during Miranda Lambert’s set on her co-headlining Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town.
