Billy Currington Dishes on His Summer Forever Tour

Billy Currington is warming up the winter months with his headlining Summer Forever Tour.

Sounds Like Nashville got to talk with the “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To” singer about the tour, how special it is to headline his own show, and his new tour mate.

“When you’re the headliner, you get a lot more time, so that should fun and something I’ve never really done before,” he explained. I’ve been opening up for some great artists for quite a few years now and I learned a lot so I’m going to take it to my show this year.”

Currington is also thrilled to have “Dibs” singer Kelsea Ballerini out on the road with him this year.

“I love Kelsea Ballerini. She is so sweet and beautiful and all the great things. It worked out that she’s going to go out on the road with us for quite a few dates this year on the Summer Forever Tour,” he told us. “I met her one time at a show that we did together and it was then that I recognized the fact that I would love to be a part of her career in some way, whether I open up for her or she opens up for me. I just want to be a part.”
