Blake Shelton will conclude an already amazing year with the news that his latest single, “I’ll Name The Dogs,” has gone No.1. The occasion marks Shelton’s 25th ascent to the top of the country radio charts and comes just in time for Christmas.

“What a great way to end 2017 with ‘I’ll Name The Dogs’ at No. 1!” said Shelton in a press release. “As I look back over another incredible year, I know that the success has been because of the love and support from my fans. This song and several others on Texoma Shore are little more throwback, traditional country. They take me back to a time when I was growing up in Oklahoma, when things were a little less complicated. Thank you to my fans for embracing my music both new and old – and for all you do for my family and me. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family!”

Shelton released “I’ll Name The Dogs” in September as the lead single from his then-unannounced forthcoming album. The song went on to be featured on the Oklahoma native’s sixth No.1 album Texoma Shore. Upon it’s No.1 debut, Shelton couldn’t believe that after all his years in music, he was still able to have a project resonate so strongly with his devoted fans.

“I can’t believe that 17 years into making records and my fans are still so supportive,” he shared previously. “I mean a No. 1 album? When I think it can’t get any better, it does – thanks to them. I love you all!”

Blake Shelton will continue to thank fans and revel in his successes as he embarks on his headlining Country Music Freaks Tour in early 2018. He’ll be joined by special guests Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and Trace Adkins for the 14-date trek.
