They first bonded as coach and contestant, but now Blake Shelton is going to get to know his The Voice winner Sundance Head even more as they head out on the road together for the Doing It to Country Songs Tour.

Shelton, who made the announcement on Wednesday morning (1/11), wanted his upcoming tour to feature some new faces and decided to do so in the spirit of the popular reality singing competition show. Also tagging along for the ride is another one of Shelton’s former team members, RaeLynn, and the “Came Here to Forget” singer cannot wait for the experiences the three are going to have together.

“I’m excited to get back out on the road and bring new music from If I’m Honest, some previous hits and a few surprises,” said Shelton in a recent press release. “Having RaeLynn on the tour again is terrific, and I’m thrilled Sundance is joining and bringing his incredible musical talents.”

As a newcomer to the whole music industry scene, Head hopes this tour will give him great experience and allow him to discover the art of being a successful country artist from watching Shelton do his thing.

“I’m just elated and really excited about being able to perform with a great entertainer and learn something from him while I’m on the road. It’s going to be the most fun thing I’ve ever done,” Head said.

The Doing It to Country Songs Tour kicks off in Bakersfield, California, on February 16 and will run through the middle of March. Fans can find more details about the tour on Shelton’s website.
