It’s no secret that Blake Shelton knows how to get the whole room giggling. When it came time to sit down and chat with talk show host-slash-comedian Jimmy Kimmel, Shelton got candid in his typical hilarious manner during a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night (12/15).

Laughing their way through a number of topics, Kimmel and Shelton chatted about the rat race lifestyle of Los Angeles and how Shelton’s biggest draw to the city, besides his job on NBC’s The Voice, is that his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, lives there. Admitting that Shelton takes Stefani on helicopter rides when visiting his native Oklahoma or how they gallivant around her hometown of Anaheim to see Disneyland and the house she grew up in, Kimmel got the best of Shelton with a joke regarding his latest album’s title.

“The title of the album is If I’m Honest. Does that mean anything particular? Do you normally hold back,” Kimmel asks as Shelton puts on his best awkward smile.

Of course, it’s no Shelton interview without a little banter. The two talked about Shelton’s devoted passion for Christmas music and how he’s an addict to playing it all year round to show his love for the holiday.

“All year long, I listen to it. Anne Murray, I listen to Michael Bublé, I listen to Andy Williams. All those people! I do, I love Christmas. I love Christmas music,” the country singer proclaims.

But as Kimmel is known for his segways, the talk show host gets Shelton to also admit his love for the show, Golden Girls, rather than have him expose a huge embarrassing secret about the “Came Here to Forget” singer that was told to Kimmel by fellow Voice co-star, Carson Daly. Shelton reveals his favorite character from the classic television sitcom to divert the attention away from the unknown fact and still manages to keep his charming self intact the whole time.

Shelton then played his current radio hit, “Guy With a Girl,” for the Kimmel audience during his visit. Fans can listen to the hit on Shelton’s album, If I’m Honest, which is available now.
