Fans attending the CMA Music Festival in Nashville in June were treated to four-nights of non-stop country music. Some of the genre’s biggest names and best rising acts took the stage within Nissan Stadium for an unforgettable festival unlike any other. Among the stars with a set was Blake Shelton, who was featured during the ABC television special of the fest performing his smash, “I Lived It,” to thousands of adoring and singing fans.
“I feel like ‘I Lived It’ is one of the greatest songs I’ve ever had the chance to record,” Shelton previously said of the tune. “This is something that takes me back to my childhood and I think it’s going to take a lot of people back. As I’ve had the chance to play this album for people early on, that’s the song that really stands out to everybody… it’s hard to listen to without relating to it. It’s hard not to fall in love with this song.”
The song is the second single from Shelton’s critically-acclaimed 2017 release, Texoma Shore. The project also features his No.1 single, “I’ll Name The Dogs.”
The CMA Fest special aired Wednesday night on ABC, with performances from Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and many others. The show was taped during the four-night CMA Music Festival, held in Nashville, TN.
