Blake Shelton Gets Why Fans Are Still in Shock Over Gwen Stefani Relationship

Opposites most definitely attract, and that surely seems to be the case for Blake Shelton and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.

The two began their whirlwind romance a while after they met on the set of NBC’s The Voice, and they haven’t looked back since. Although some skeptics may think they don’t fit together on paper, the couple continues to fall in love more and more every day despite all the rumors swirling around them.

While some fake news stories could get the best of the musicians, Shelton laughs off every single tabloid he hears because he knows their relationship is stronger than any of the petty nonsense people put out there about them. But for Shelton, he still finds it hilarious to hear all of the ridiculous things people create in their mind.

“Any time you see a story about us, it’s either that it’s a fake relationship or that we’re already married,” Shelton joked to Today. “Or we’re gonna get married, or she’s on her second set of twins. Or, you know, I’m sneaking behind her back to eat meat. I eat meat right in front of her face!”

Thankfully, Stefani and Shelton stay pretty grounded in the roots of their relationship by planning normal dates to Disneyland or just hanging out on his ranch in Oklahoma. Nevertheless, Shelton still gets why people continue to question what really goes on between the two due to their significant personality differences.

“In people’s defense, I think it’s so hard for people to wrap their head around why Gwen would want to be with me,” said Shelton in the interview. “I don’t blame ‘em.”
