Blake Shelton, Keith Urban Among 2016 CMT Music Awards Performers

The 2016 CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville on June 8.

The first round of performers for the 2016 CMT Music Awards have been revealed!

Taking the stage on June 8 will be Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett, all of whom are nominated for the top award of the night, Video of the Year.

Shelton will perform “Doin’ It to a Country Song,” a song from his new album, If I’m Honest. He will be joined by the Oak Ridge Boys, who are also featured on the recorded version of the song. Urban will step on stage to perform his current single “Wasted Time” with his Ripcord World Tour 2016 tour mates Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris.

Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The 2016 CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can vote for their favorite videos by visiting CMT.com. CMT will also announce a brand new surprise category on June 1.
