Changing out his country career for a modeling one, Shelton flipped the switch on the typical underwear advertisement by keeping it all on to showcase the garments. Throwing some subtle yet steady shade, Shelton feels the need to represent a unique approach to selling underwear by doing things his own way.
“Underwear isn’t really underwear if it isn’t under something. That’s what it’s for,” explains Shelton in the 30-second clip.
Leaving a lot to the imagination, Shelton keeps his clothes on as the shot zooms out on the country star to make a point that undergarments aren’t made for the eye to wander upon. Every thread definitely counts when it comes to Shelton’s look for the hilarious ad.
Shelton doesn’t just have a starring role in the Gildan commercial; he’s also been shining bright at the top of the album charts with his latest record, If I’m Honest.
