Although it isn’t the first time for the Oklahoma native to notch that position in his career, he nevertheless expressed his thankfulness toward his fans for their unwavering support throughout the years.

“I can’t believe that 17 years into making records and my fans are still so supportive,” said Shelton in a press release. “I mean a No. 1 album? When I think it can’t get any better, it does – thanks to them. I love you all!”

Throughout the week leading up to the album’s release, Shelton popped by a number of popular television shows to promote his album and also have a good time in the process. He joked around during his interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and even gave the stamp of approval for Hoda Kotb’s costume on Today during their Halloween special.
