Blake Shelton Performs Duet with Gwen Stefani at President Obama’s State Dinner

Blake Shelton and girlfriend Gwen Stefani have taken their love to the presidential level by performing a duet together at President Obama’s final State Dinner on Tuesday night (Oct. 18).

With Stefani representing the Italian heritage for the Italy State Dinner, she sang a number of her past hits as the musical entertainment for the night. Joining along in her fun performance to belt out their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” Shelton gave it a go beside his love in front of the star-studded crowd including stars such as Frank Ocean, Rachel Ray, James Taylor and more.

Throughout the rest of the dinner, Shelton and Stefani dined on dishes from the exquisite chef, Mario Batalli, and mingled among the A-list audience in attendance. During the day, Stefani and her family even got to hang out around the White House with the Obama family, even meeting up with Bo and Sunny for a little dog play time.

This won’t be the last time the pair works together in the coming months as it was just recently announced that Stefani will be headed back to The Voice for season 12 to sit alongside Shelton as a coach. While they have worked together on the show before, this will mark the first time that the couple go head-to-head on the reality competition show since they got together.

Check out Shelton on The Voice this season, airing on Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.
