Blake Shelton Plays the Elf for ’12 Days of Giveaways’ on ‘Ellen’

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, or at least it is on The Ellen DeGeneres Show because she’s in the midst of her annual “12 Days of Giveaways” special and Blake Shelton got in on the holiday gifting galore.

Originally coming on the show to talk about his time on this season’s The Voice, Ellen DeGeneres got him talking about ‘his new book’ instead. The children’s book, titled Blake and his Tiny, Little Snake, is supposedly all about a handsome man by the name of Blake who owns a small snake and plays with the snake every day.

Obviously referring to some pretty hilarious innuendos, DeGeneres and the audience could not stop giggling as Shelton narrated the pages throughout the book. The country singer did not seem to be too thrilled over their unserious reactions.

“It’s actually…it’s not meant to be funny,” Shelton proclaimed with a mischievous scowl upon his face.

Acting as the set-up to introduce the eighth day of the prize giveaway, Shelton stood beside DeGeneres as she gifted her jolly audience with presents such as a Michael Kors smartwatch, a year-long membership to ClassPass and a trip to Miraval Resort in Arizona.

Shelton then joined DeGeneres in a quick game of Wet Head, where they spun the wheel to see if they had to pull sticks from above the fellow contestants’ heads in hopes that no water pours down upon their seat. The talk show host may have gotten Shelton to drink down a couple shots, but she ultimately lost the game despite both audience members going home with tickets to see iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball concert.

Right now, Shelton is currently coaching his team for this season of The Voice, which airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
