The People’s Choice Awards 2017 is about to amp things up country-style by bringing Blake Shelton out to perform on stage during the show.

Shelton, who is known for his massive country career and his coaching position on NBC’s The Voice, will take on performing responsibilities on top of his nominations. The country singer is up for three PCAs, including Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Male Country Artist and Favorite Album.

Not only are fans excited for the show featuring Shelton, but producer Mark Burnett is also looking forward to see what Shelton has up his sleeve.

“Blake Shelton is one of the greatest live performers of all time,” said Burnett in a statement. “I love this guy and can’t wait for our global audience to watch his brilliance on stage.”

At this moment in time, Shelton joins the pop group Fifth Harmony as a performer for the ceremony with many more set to be announced in the next coming days leading up to the show.

The “Came Here to Forget” singer also just announced that he will have The Voice contestant Sundance Head join him and fellow country singer RaeLynn on the Doing It to Country Songs Tour this winter.

The People’s Choice Awards 2017, hosted by Joel McHale, air live from Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 18, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
