As a part of Trace Adkins’ career in country music, he made it a part of his mission to use his platform to transform the world one initiative at a time.

His latest approach to helping out people in need was by planning a benefit concert called ‘Jammin’ to Beat the Blues’ in order to give back to the mental health community. Plotting the show in Nashville’s ‘Mother Church of Country Music’ and asking along a few friends to help, Adkins got the ball rolling for a good time for all.

Previously, Adkins announced that Jason Crabb and High Valley would be a part of the lineup for the evening with more performers expected to stop by. Exceeding everyone’s expectations, Blake Shelton and Craig Morgan signed themselves up to play a little set during the event and Adkins never could have guessed how awesome it would feel to lock down huge stars such as them.

“Never have I been surrounded by more talent,” said Adkins in a press release about the show. “I am thrilled, and honored to welcome these three talented artists to the line-up!”

Also set for the bill is Christian music band, MercyMe. Known for their massive success with the song, “I Can Only Imagine,” the group plans to bring their own light through music to the intimate concert.

Proceeds made by the Jammin’ to Beat the Blues show will be donated to Mental Health America of Middle Tennessee. The organization provides services and creates awareness for mental health, and dedicates its cause to connecting communities across the nation to the education regarding mental health.

The Jammin’ to Beat the Blues benefit will be held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Wednesday, March 21. Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from $39 to $59 a seat.
