Blake Shelton was one of the many country stars to lend his talents to the 2018 CMT Music Awards, bringing the party outside Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to his new bar Ole Red for a performance of “Turnin’ Me On.”

After an introduction from RaeLynn and CMT host Cody Alan, Shelton took to the rooftop of his brand new bar in downtown Nashville, entertaining the crowd that had gathered in front of the stage with the smooth “Turnin’ Me On.”

The superstar brought a mellow vibe to the show as he crooned “She’s turning me on, turning me on, pushing my buttons like it ain’t no thing if I’m what she wants, she gets what she wants, the neon’s buzzing when she pulls that string.” The crowd was clearly delighting in the performance, clapping and swaying to the beat while singing to the romantic lyrics.

Before grabbing his guitar for the rooftop performance, Shelton also took part in the show’s opening bit, helping Little Big Town broadcast coverage of the “real” royal wedding after party when Dustin Lynch, Jake Owen and Jon Pardi came strutting down the street up to Ole Red, donning neon pink shirts displaying play-on-word phrases relating to their names.

The “Every Time I Hear That Song” singer is up for two of the night’s awards with “I’ll Name the Dogs” scoring nods for Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year.
