Blake Shelton Welcomes Randy Travis On Stage In Texas

Blake Shelton welcomed a very special guest on stage during his headlining performance at the Off The Rails Country Music Fest in Frisco, Texas on Saturday (April 23).

“Ladies and gentleman, this is Randy Travis,” Shelton said as he brought out the soon-to-be inducted Country Music Hall of Fame member.

Holding Shelton’s hand, Travis was all smiles as the crowd erupted with cheers.

“You tell me miracles can’t happen, you’re looking at one right here…this guy walked out here tonight,” Shelton told fans, also calling him “one of my heroes.”

Travis suffered a debilitating stroke in 2013. Since then, he’s only made a handful of public appearances.

Before Travis left the stage, Shelton thanked him for “Thank you so much for being here tonight, Randy. We all love you.”

Travis was also on-hand for Chris Young’s performance earlier that evening. After his set, Young shared a photo of himself with the legendary singer saying, “That’s a night that’s gonna be tough to top.”
