Just days ago, Bobby Bones and the cast of the nationally syndicated The Bobby Bones Show participated in a St. Jude Radiothon and within 24 hours, the team raised $1.3 million for the research hospital.

During the lengthy broadcast for a good cause, Bones featured many of country music’s best and brightest acts, including the legendary Garth Brooks. After hearing about how much money the morning show had raised in just a single days’ time, Brooks was inspired to do his part and will now donate $20 from the sale of every copy sold of his new box set Garth Brooks – The Ultimate Collection now through December 25.

“Just when I thought the Radiothon couldn’t exceed any more expectations, this happens,” expressed Bones. “I half-jokingly suggested that Garth sign up to donate $20 a month during the broadcast, but I never expected him to go above and beyond like this. St Jude is a really important cause for so many people, and it’s very humbling that we’re able to help inspire these acts of kindness.”

“After talking with Bobby on the show last week, I was stunned when I heard just how much money the show had raised in one day,” added Brooks. “It really motivated me to get involved and see how I could try and help such an amazing cause. Hats off to Bobby and his team for putting together an inspirational broadcast that is really making a difference to a lot of people’s lives.”

The box set is sold exclusively at Target stores or on target.com for $29.99. The collection includes 10 discs, including Brooks’ new album Gunslinger and an updated version of his smash hit, “Friends in Low Places.”
