Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, More Join The Bobby Bones Show Joy Week 2016

This week wass Joy Week at The Bobby Bones Show. The nationally syndicated morning weekday morning show has been “Pimpin’ Joy” with numerous appearances by country music’s biggest stars.

To kick off the annual event (3/7), “Burning House” singer Cam dropped by the studio. The California native channeled her inner Justin Bieber for a cover of his new song, “Love Yourself.”

Tim McGraw stopped by on Tuesday, but he wasn’t alone. Accompanying the “Humble and Kind” singer was a mariachi band (yes, we’re serious!). The group performed “Before The Next Teardrop Falls,” a song made famous by the late Freddy Fender.

On Wednesday morning (3/9), Carrie Underwood joined Joy Week and performed a magical version of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You,” a song that she is currently covering on her Storyteller Tour. The Oklahoma native also guest stars on Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots upcoming comedy record, The Critics Give It 5 Stars, for a song called “We Can’t Stand Each Other.”

Despite being halfway around the world, “Dibs” singer Kelsea Ballerini and her band helped spread Joy on Thursday while in Australia. Ballerini traveled “down under” to partake in the CMC Rocks Festival.

The final day of Joy Week (3/11) included a couple performances from Old Dominion. After singing their latest single, “Snapback,” with the on-air personalities, the group covered Alabama’s “Take Me Down,” thus proving why they’re a favorite among Sounds Like Nashville staff.

Artists including Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell, Maren Morris, Jana Kramer and many others have visited the studio to help pimp joy. The show is encouraging fans to use #PimpinJoy on social media to help spread the joy.
