Guitar god Brad Paisley is taking his love for the instrument a little father by partnering with Fender to design a signature guitar. The collaboration, which Paisley and Fender have been working hard on for quite some time, is called the Brad Paisley Road Worn® Telecaster®.

Like any guitar pro, the “Last Time For Everything” singer loves Fender guitars. He has several in his collection, and he pulled ideas from all of his favorites to create the Road Worn® Telecaster®, which will be debuted at Summer NAMM 2017. He specifically wanted it to be similar to his prized silver sparkle 1962 Telecaster®.

“The best thing about having a Fender Signature Telecaster is the unwavering quality associated with the brand’s legacy and confidence that I’m introducing a great guitar at an incredible price point,” says Paisley. “I set out to create a guitar that was accessible for the vast majority of young people out there, who I hope to inspire to change the world with musical dreams.”

Paisley has made efforts to inspire fellow players in the past as well. When his 2014 single, “Perfect Storm,” was released, he called upon fans to share videos of themselves playing the guitar solo in the song. Paisley shared and responded to many of the videos. The singer even hands out guitars to fans during his show.

Fender and Paisley both want to inspire the next generation of guitar players, which is why they worked to construct the guitar in such a way that is easy to play whole producing an amazing sound.

The guitar, priced at $1,199.99, has a custom lightweight body with a custom wound ’64 Tele Bridge Pickup, a “V” neck shape for a comfortable grip and medium jumbo frets to aid quick finger movements.

The guitar also features a silver sparkle finish and a paisley pickguard. Despite this collaboration with Paisley, Fender has been manufacturing paisley guitars since before Paisley was even born, proving the two were destined for this collaboration.

Brad Paisley is currently out on the Weekend Warrior World Tour with Lindsay Ell, Dustin Lynch and Chase Bryant.
