Country music will represent the patriotic spirit of America as some of the best in the biz put on a show during the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular special.

Hosted on a day none other than Independence Day, stars such as Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum and Craig Campbell will lend their voices to the national holiday show, in which The Big Apple lights up the sky with red, white and blue fireworks flying high above the city. The July celebration has roared throughout New York City for the past 40 years, and NBC wanted to make it a country affair for the 41st annual program.

“Our lineup of amazing musical acts and personalities will be the perfect lead-in to the incredible fireworks display the nation waits for all year,” said Doug Vaughan, executive vice president of specials and late-night programming for NBC Entertainment, in a press release. “NBC is proud to partner with Macy’s and these talented artists to create the ultimate destination to celebrate Independence Day.”

Not only will many musical acts be performing in honor of America’s birthday, but the fireworks show itself plans to be the biggest across the nation with 60,000 fireworks launching throughout the night. Set over New York City’s East River, citizens of the metropolitan mecca can witness such a spectacle during summer’s most festive night of the year.

The Macy’s Fourth of July firework event will air live from New York City on Tuesday, July 4th, on NBC.
