Brett Eldredge ‘Flower Bombs’ Lower Broadway in Nashville

Brett Eldredge is trying to do more than just make great music. The singer is trying to put smiles on people’s faces in the sweetest way possible… by handing out flowers on the street!

The Illinois native first flower bombed the city of Charleston, SC while he was visiting the city to shoot his music video for his latest single, “Drunk On Your Love,” and yesterday (January 11), he brought the joy back to Nashville.

“I was walking around New York once and I saw some guy give… just somebody on the street, he just gave a girl some flowers,” Eldredge told Sounds Like Nashville. “So I’m walking around in South Carolina where I was shooting my music video for ‘Drunk On Your Love’ and I said I’m just going to go out and hand random people some flowers and it was the coolest thing.”

“You never know what somebody is going through or what’s going on in their world,” he added. “Maybe they’re doing great, but they can be doing even better if you just hand them a flower. Just flower bomb them.”

The country crooner did admit that not everyone was happy to see him with a flower. “There was one gal, she was on the phone and she was like (waves hand)… You know, like, ‘I ain’t got time for your flower.'”

Most of all, Eldredge wants to bring smiles to faces and encourages others to join in on his flower bombing mission.

“Why don’t we keep this craze going? I want everybody to know that anybody can do this. Just go out there and give somebody flowers. Come on. Anywhere you want to go,” he challenged. “You’re gonna make somebody’s day.”
