Country star Brett Eldredge isn’t shy when it comes to sharing his life off stage using social media. He regularly posts updates about his music, behind-the-scenes footage during concerts and of course what life is like with his new adorable puppy, Edgar.

Now not all country stars are as transparent with their personal lives, but for the Illinois native it doesn’t make sense not to be.

“Fans give me a reason to do what I do one hundred percent anyways,” Eldredge shared with Sounds Like Nashville and other media during a recent celebration in Nashville. “I can’t imagine posting this stuff to an empty crowd of people who don’t care. I love that people want to check in with what I’m doing and what kind of music I’m making and just the regular daily life.”

Now for those of you who haven’t witnessed Eldredge’s social media antics, we highly suggest you change that. He is not afraid to be the weirdest version of himself and is happy to make other’s laugh as he even laughs at himself.

“I’m just a regular guy that likes to live life in a crazy way,” he continued. “I can capture that crazy life on Snapchat and I have a really random mind and somehow they don’t think I’m insane, and if I do they just keep coming back to watch more.”

Sweet puppy dreams😊

A recent addition to the spotlight is his puppy who sometimes steals the show. Edgar has just as much energy as Eldredge and the hilarity that ensues from their relationship is priceless.

After being drained from performing for thousands of fans, there’s no better way to end the night then to unwind with your best buddy, who just happens to be your dog.

“He’s a handful but he’s a lot of fun,” the 30-year-old singer confessed. “He runs everywhere on tour and sees thousands of people everyday it seems like people love him. He makes me feel good when I come off stage in front of 25,000 people then I come on the bus and I got my puppy there to give me some puppy love.”

A heartthrob who loves dogs, can he get any more perfect?

So don’t expect Eldredge to step away from social media anytime soon. And if you’re in the mood for a good laugh, Eldredge promises to keep the good, uncensored times coming.

“It’s a way I literally can bring everyone along for the ride,” he concluded. “I know everybody can’t come to every show maybe they can’t make it to any of the shows. I want everybody to feel like they’re along for the ride, so I bring them in. I peel back the curtains and say let’s party.”
