Brett Eldredge Puts Edgar in ‘Star Puppy Training 101′

When you’re as busy as Brett Eldredge is, it’s hard to imagine taking on another responsibility. He’s busy churning out No.1 songs, touring with Keith Urban and now, he has added a new puppy to the mix.
The Illinois native recently brought home Edgar, an adorable little pup that’s been appearing regularly on Eldredge’s Snapchat. But with a new puppy, comes some new chores, like training and house breaking, so the singer has taken it upon himself to train the little tyke.
In an adorable video from Watershed Festival, Eldredge is seen bouncing around the festival grounds with “man’s best friend,” while also having some very in-depth conversations so they have a mutual understanding of each other.
“Trying to train Edgar on how to be a STAR,” he said with the clip titled “Star Puppy Training 101” posted to Facebook. In the video, Eldredge acts like an excited little boy as he teaches Edgar the importance of hydration while out for a run after a hearty breakfast. He also explained the importance of looking good onstage before putting the pup in a t-shirt of his very own. As the clip closes, Edgar is seen in a doggie baby Bjorn on Eldredge’s chest as he performs for the excited Watershed crowd.
