Brett Eldredge Partners With Lyft to Raise Funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

One simple ride could change the life of one, or many, cancer patients thanks to the new partnership between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Lyft called the Round Up and Donate feature.
Brett Eldredge also got on board to support the charitable cause by sending out a special invitation to a handful of St. Jude patients to come out to Nashville and see an intimate concert by the country superstar. With all the patients on board to check out Music City, Eldredge even acted as their dapper host for the evening by hanging out with the group backstage before his big show.
As Eldredge busted out some of his Christmas carols during the Glow concert, the children danced around in the audience and enjoyed their night out on the town. The Illinois native felt honored to give the kids an evening where nothing else mattered except the music and their smiles.

I hope that everyone can see how powerful and simple it is to help by donating. Let’s give these children the life that they deserve.”
The Round Up and Donate movement through Lyft has raised $4 million for treatments and facility care at St. Jude. Rounding the fares up to the next highest dollar amount conveniently allows customers to give without the added cost of raising prices in general.
The Round Up and Donate will continue raising money for St. Jude, in which users of the app can sign up for the difference donation through the ‘Settings’ portion. All extra change from the ride totals will be given to researching and curing cancer at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
