Britney Spears Surprises Jamie Lynn Spears at Grand Ole Opry
Jamie Lynn was clearly moved by the surprise as she was seen wiping tears from her eyes while making her way to the stage.
Jamie Lynn Spears returned to the Grand Ole Opry stage last night.
The “How Could I Want More” singer made it a family affair, bring her husband Jamie, 7-year-old daughter Maddie, and parents James and Lynne along for her appearance. What Jamie Lynn didn’t know was that her older siblings, Britney and Bryan, were waiting in the wings to surprise their little sis.
“Thanks to the Opry for letting me introduce this beautiful, young lady, who is my heart and my soul,” Britney said as she announced her sister. “Not only is she beautiful and extremely talented, she’s my little sister… Jamie Lynn Spears!”
Jamie Lynn was clearly moved by the surprise as she was seen wiping tears from her eyes while making her way to the stage. She later tweeted a video of the introduction saying, “Best surprise ever at the most special place ever. So blessed. Thanks to my family, @britneyspears & thanks @opry.”
The singer then went on to sing her debut single, “How Could I Want More,” and gave fans a preview of her new music.
